Towing of oil tankers (newly-built), length/width/depth – 139,99/16,6/5,5 m was done by double heading method using the main and the auxiliary tugs with capacity 2400 and 740 h.p. respectively on the river route (Zelenodolsk – Rostov-on-Don) and a tug with capacity 1400 h.p. on the sea route (Rostov – Temryuk).
A triple lockage method was used passing through the Volga-Don Ship Chanel.
